Shanna started her career at the University of Virginia, fell in love with Boulder, Colorado, and now keeps her fun music flowing out of middle America, complete with spontaneous banter and playful stage presence. It’s smart, bold and accessible, with honest songs full of interesting language and wordplay.
Shanna in a Dress has won the Rocky Mountain Folks Fest Songwriting Contest, the Kerrville New Folk competition and the Great River Folk Fest Song Competition, and has headlined at several other festivals and major venues.
